Early Life

Jeffrey was born & raised in Houston, Texas. His Family is originally from Hong Kong and returned back after Jeffrey was born. Jeffrey spent the majority of his childhood in Hong Kong, within a lower class, but humble neighborhood — Wong Tai Sin District, The “Bronx” of Hong Kong. Government built Housing Projects in The 1960s to prop up the area. At the time, Jeffrey’s Grandparents did what they could to survive — this included selling traditional street food. This was Jeffrey’s first understanding of work ethic.

Jeffrey would partake in rebellious mischief with his neighborhood friends, often causing headaches for his family. As an only child, he received all the focus — good and bad. Part of this rebellious streak was contained by enrolling in TaeKwonDo and learning principles of discipline — eventually earning his Black Belt. Along the course of school, Jeffrey was able to receive & maintain a ‘Straight A’ Honor Roll, but that quickly faded as Jeffrey grew into his teens and became interested more in socialization, working out, & cultivating new experiences.

Development

When in High School, Jeffrey developed a strong love for Powerlifting, and ended up competing in USAPL (USA Powerlifting Organization) for half a decade. To fund his Sport of Choice, Jeffrey would Lifeguard in The Summers and deal with the scorching Texas Heat. Jeffrey is accredited with winning The National Junior Championships in the 66kg ‘Equipped’ category; he held Personal Record Lifts for Deadlift, Bench Press, & Squat, outmatching his competitors.

Upon gracefully retiring from the sport, Jeffrey became a Certified Personal Trainer and started accumulating physical clientele while attending The University of Houston (studied Finance). Friends since High School, Jeffrey formed a business relationship with Mitha to form & structure a Fitness Coaching Business. This was a way to take physical personal training online and scale clientele & sales through an online presence. Jeffrey was young, ambitious, and full of testosterone; what he wanted the most was to build something substantial — to the point where his family could depend on him. 

Career

Jeffrey always had a mathematical interest in finance and The Stock Market; this eventually led him to building an investment portfolio, solely managed by him. He would take whatever money he could from Personal Training, Lifeguarding, Business Income, and pour it into his trivial portfolio.

Upon building his investments, The 2020 Pandemic was introduced and The World stopped. This caused The Global Economy to completely shut down and stagnate. This personally affected income for Jeffrey, so he sought alternative ways to make money.

Jeffrey went deep down the rabbit hole with ‘Day Trading, Swing Trading, Credit Spreads, Covered Calls, & Cash Secured Puts. Eventually, through trial & error, Jeffrey kept away from frivolous Day & Swing Trading and stuck with reputable, conservative option plays. Jeffrey added new plays to his repertoire as his strategies developed, leading him to study & execute on Futures by analyzing order flow to determine liquidity, volume, and bid & ask spread — all while using the same conservative options that initially gained him financial success. 

Family

Jeffrey comes from a large Extended Family with 8 uncles alone on his Father’s side, and countless cousins. Jeffrey wants to emulate a part of that by continuously creating a Grand Family of his own. Jeffrey’s sole goal for The Next Generation is to raise Boys who will become Warriors and Girls who will become quintessential Mothers & Wives.
